Then you have to count your gameplay in frames per minute, so what is really the point. I barely runs with a 486DX or Cyrix, it is tailored for a dual pipelined Pentium, thats it.

I usually use de Compaqified MS-DOS 3.31 for authentic feel(If you need hard drives more than 32MB), or MS-DOS 5.00 rev b. (Updated FDISK and FORMAT). But in reality you can use MS-DOS 6.22, just delete drvspace.bin or dblspace.bin from root, to save memory. Unless he will be using Double Space ;) …

I use mostly Geforce MX cards in my P3 AGP ISA DOS rigs, it has sutch a good VGA compadibility, and are so common, affordable, low power.

I was using Windows 3.11 and Winplay 3 and allso Windows 95 and Winamp and i can tell you for a fact a 486 DX2-66 will not play a 128kbs in full quality, but you can tweak it to play, but a DX4-100 will play, and Pentiums have no problem. I can not comment on other bitrates, because that was the …

What drivers work, and does even MSCDEX work with a 8088 cpu? I know that NEC V20 makes thing a lot easier.

Well in Estonia we do not really need any WiFi, my mobile dataplan provides me 50GB domestically, and plus 5GB over entire europe for just 7EUR a month, plus i have limitless phone calls and SMS. Last phone had a faulty WiFi and Bluetooth chip, i did not even care, only sometime i coud not provide …

Some kind of Polish Warcraft 1 clone, but seems to have modern controls, bad thing that is only in Polish. Else i would play it gladly, because it is DOS game.

No not commercial UNIX, just Linux distros, because there are so many, and they are basically the same, and you can even make a minimal distro today, it does not really scream a certain period of time. It is allmost the same, if you call FreeDOS a retro operating system. But i dislike pure FreeDOS …

Volkov Commander 4.05 has never caused me any trouble, and is fully written in assembly. So small and fast.
