NC2000 is for Win9x and it supports LFN, but it's slow compared to NC5/5.5 Dos. I would never use NC4x/5x within Win9x.

On some later machines, I have got several issues with NC (4/5). Seems that it is more speed-sensitive than VolkovCommander. sharp and crisp output is really true. I have a r7000-pci installed in one of my retro-systems. i have ordered a r9250/256mb/128bit ddr just recently. it should be a lot better. the r7000 is not bad, it has a very good image-quality in vga and dvi but some performance and some compatibility issues …

TNT1/2 has Win3x drivers. Would be an "additional value". I think the Savage4 has Win3x drivers and s3tc which tnt/tnt2 don't have.

You are right, this old version of DPaint has CGA and preconfigured patterns. Thx! I am testing Dr-Halo II as well. HighQuality CGA-Art is hard to find.

No, it had to be drawn in CGA with d-paint, then it will have no errors. 1. wrong format (not 320x200) 2. more colors then 4 2. lot's of error's. e.g. the shadow has wrong pixels, wrong length of the shadow etc.

Maraton1 is slower on PPC-Upgrade Quadra700 then the 68K Version with scanlines. You cannot choose scanline if you have a PPC machine. You can Play LOT's of fantastic mac-games with such an old 68k-Mac.
