Thanks.. I ended up doing exactly that.. The chipset drivers did support the USB (for some reason I thought it was using a separate chip) and all ended up quite well..Except not being very stable when using my USB CD emulator 🙁

Hi Does some one have drivers for this Mobo - Win98SE If I put the i815 chipset drivers and the cmedia (or just turn it off and use an external).. I'd like to be able to use the USBs Still a set of the original drivers will be best IMHO Thanks

Rats... The Abit AH6 latest bios still does not support large disks.. Can't find a proper BIOS fro the BIOSTAR M6TZA Apropo.. I can read an understand Russian.. Wife is half russian 😀

Hm.. Obviously I am remembering things wrongly.. I threw in a smaller 8GB IDE and it detected it. Howerver a different mobo SuperPower 6XV-133 is detecting the large 80 and 120 GB disks fine.. What am I missing

Seems like I am having problems with two Slo1 Mobos One is BioStar M6TZA - this one is curious .. it boots, it detects the disks, then it shows a popup with the CPU temp and voltage and fan speed, then it goes to the usual screen where it displays the BIOS data and there it freezes on the disk …

Figured it out I was calculating the offset wrongly. Instead of multiplying Start with 512, I was using 1024..
