Patch seems to break something in dynamic (dynrec) core. Prior to patch, win98 worked (enough to boot and use for a while) in dynamic core. After patch, always getting pagefault exception on boot of win98 in dynamic core. Reverting the patch allows win98 to work again.

The Android ports of DosBox are compiled w/o sdl_sound library in order to save resources on mobile devices. That means no CD-Audio support in your bin/cue file if using OGG or MP3. Anyone else notice instability in Windows 98 when using more than 64MB of RAM? Tried using 256MB and after about 5 minutes Win98 just froze and the cursor was stuck.

There are only a handful of games that use MMX. So I'm just wondering (out loud) what the purpose of MMX in DosBox would be other than to run those few titles? Emulating MMX would not make existing games any faster.

Seeing as DosBox Turbo is just an Android Wrapper around DosBox proper, then no. It does not support MMX.

Yeah, try DosBox Turbo. Its significantly faster than andosbox or adosbox in my experience. I play lots of XCom, and its the fastest of all three DOSBOXEN.

Looking through the sources, its apparent why anDosbox is faster than the regular dosbox, there is a default FRAMESKIP of 2 hardcoded, also, in the cpu loop, there it skips 50 cpu cycles..
