Re: Activating a USB Joystick

in DOSBox General
I did the tests in the Xwing trainer. I always made the attempt to complete the course as quickly as I could. With the CYBORG I found I had to line up the targets earlier and if I was off line on the first target it was unlikely that I would be able to correct the line to hit the next target. This …

Well, aside from the fact that the broad-sides of barns are all safe from destruction. I tested both sticks in the XWING Combat Training Maze and I did better each time I used the Sidewinder. It seemed to me that the CYBORG F.L.Y. 5 was 'jumpy' in comparison to the Sidewinder Pro. I have both …

When I plugged in my old MS Sidewinder, after scrapping the garbage crud off it, DOSbox saw it immediately, identifying and naming it as it is named in …

Activating a USB Joystick

in DOSBox General
I have shiny new Saitek Cyborg F.L.Y. 5 Joystick. It is not recognised by DOSBOX. I think, it is because it is a USB device that is the problem. Can anybody offer some suggestions about getting the stick to work or should I go digging in the trash for my old MS Sidewinder?
