The only EISA board that may is the AIR 486EI, but I have never had one to verify. That board only goes up to 512kb cache though. It would still be pretty neat if it supported writeback L1 though. If that is a chipset level feature, I doubt it. I don't know much about non-AMI BIOS prior to 1995. …

Not all USB to MIDI adapters are created the same it seems. My MIDI keyboard (which has a pass thru function to its 5-pin DIN jack) doesn't require any additional drivers, it uses a generic Windows and OS X class drivers.
