Re: D-Fend v3 - beta

in the "configure default options" area add an extra button that makes it replace all current d-fend profiles with the ones set in the "configure default options" area. Actually this should happen automatically when you first run the new D-Fend.

Re: D-Fend v3 - beta

Well avatar_58 the thing is there's bound to me more ppl with 100+ profiles. I once got a mail from someone who had 1500 profiles.... but I always imagined he was an exception to the rule. Personally I never had more then 20 profiles in my own D-Fend list. As for fixing bugs... I'm not aware of any. …

Re: D-Fend v3 - beta

@avetar_58 Here's what you do: Before starting a game open the profile editor and close it. This should write new values into the old profile and convert it. The new values will have the default value however it will be the default so if the game doesn't work you'll need to tweak the profile. I know …

D-Fend v3 - beta

Hello everyone. Sorry to keep you all waiting this long for an update on D-Fend but never the less. Here it is. D-Fend v3 - beta I added the new stuff DOSBox 0.65 uses and removed the stuff it no longer uses. That's it, no new features. I don't have time for new features. Also considering it's beta …

IMGMOUNT question -> audio tracks.

Does IMGMOUNT support audio tracks for mounted CD-ROM iso? If not, then perhaps this is something to look into as many DOSGames that came on a CD have redbook audio. Just to be certain, I'm talking about CD-ROM iso's that have a single datatrack and several audio tracks. Any information would be …

Re: real noob problem.

Type DIR and check what the folder name is. I think the problem could be the length of your folder name. DukeNukem 123456789 DOS only supports 8 characters for a file name and 3 for an extension. In order to cope with this folders are 'renamed' to something like this: dukenu~1 Don't put dosgames in …

Re: Cannon Fodder help appreciated

Hi, Hmmm well the only real difference is that you use the Full core in the DOSBox.ini and the Normal Core in the D-Fend settings. That could be the problem. I'm note sure though. You shouldn't use the Full CPU core. Use normal or dynamic. Also read the D-Fend manual, it explains most of the …

Re: Need some helt here dudes..

Z: is a 'fake' drive which is the host of some internal DOSBox programs. In order to go to your C drive you need to mount it. You can do this with the following command: mount c c:\ This will allow you to access your C drive as C: in DOSBox. Check out the DOSBox README.

Re: Mount problems

You're IN the Lotus folder when you mount like that. Lemme explain You have: C:\Games\Lotus Your command is: mount g g:/games/lotus This turns g:/games/lotus into G: in DOSBox So G: equals g:/games/lotus. That's why cd games doesn't work because there is no folder named games in g:/games/lotus Do …
