I did a little research, not having an S3 myself, and determined that the Trio64 and the Trio64V+ are integrated 864s and 868s respectively, between which there is no difference but motion video capabilities in the 868. Well, I got the S3 Trio64 working in all color depths I tested in 800x600 in Windows 3.1. Mainly just some MMIO issues. Actually, just some MMIO issues. http://pastebin.com/WLzbYScQ

Hey, Sarah, do you think you could port PCEm to Linux, please? My best computer only works with Linux, so I can't use PCEm as fast as possible, because Wine has an overhead.

I have, and I've even looked at the source code, which BTW, is a huge mess. QEMU may be faster, but I tried using it, and I couldn't get it working.

Don't apologize, just use a different emulator in the meantime. Bochs sounds more suited to you than PCem.

It's written in C++11, although you shouldn't need a newer compiler to compile it. It doesn't use too many C++11-exclusive features.
