in-browser video is extremely complicated, but yes, IE11 seems to have the better use of GPU acceleration here for HTML5 and flash, this should be helping the Atom. I would say Firefox is very inefficient for video compared to Chrome and IE11 the problem is that different browsers, OSes and drivers …

I think anything up to GTX 5xx and Radeon HD 6800 have pretty good XP support, I know the 7000 series from AMD took a while to get XP drivers and I suspect support is less than ideal? in any case, games from 2011 like Skyrim and Witcher 2 actually work on XP with all features, and those can benefit …

very nice, I think my Voodoo 4 would benefit from a similar treatment, while it have active cooling from factory the small heatsink and fan are hardly that good and it gets pretty warm, also the fan is very old and more noisy than it used to, for now my solution is a well positioned 80mm fan inside …

the 9600 is probably a lot better for AA/AF but this particulars 9600 is a little weak, 400MHz memory and 325 core... the 9600XT for example was 500/600, so a ti 4600 is probably faster. also, I think most 9600s wont run in agp 3.3v

the k6 performs well on some benchmarks, but using it, I prefer my pII 400 over the k6 II 550 by a big margin, the PII performs a lot more consistently and the platform is far better, k7 was amazing, one of my favorites, but I'm a little negative towards all the k6, the best k6 board I played with …

got a coppermine 1100... currently running at 733 fsb 66 because I only have a p3 650 Intel cooler 🤣 it's shows 41ºC for CPU while running the aida stability test, but I'm not sure I can trust this reading.
