Haha yep. I noticed that last year. A lot of the newer cases had only one, and some had none. Such is life I suppose.

Running it with no hs/fan on the cpu even for a few seconds can kill the CPU. I'd bet it is dead.

Agreed - Very cool setup! I recently upgraded the 500s to dual 700s and I'll get some time once again to mess around with it more. Lately I've been focusing on my Athlon 750 and new Voodoo 5 😊

For that timeframe I'd go with a geforce 4 ti. You could get a faster card for the price for sure but anything more than that would probably be lost on that CPU anyway. Ive gotten ti4200 and ti4400 cards on eBay with some patience for 10-15. Ti4600 will be closer to your top end price.

Received my voodoo 5 today! It has been just over 15 years since I've owned one of these. It's only fitting that I pair it with the same CPU I had it paired with back then (ok this is a 750 and that was a 700, but they are both Slot A Athlons).
