The IRQ for the Sound Blaster and MPU-401 are link and cannot be separated as shown in the BIOS setup screen. It is the same thing in the SETUPSA DOS utility. I disabled the Windows Sound System, COM and Parallel ports, but none of this has made any difference with getting Wavetable Midi to work …

I ran a Pentium MMX 233 in my Intel Advanced/ML motherboard for over a year with no issues. From what I understand most Pentium MMM CPUs can handle up to 3.7v, but that is probably pushing your luck, but 3.3v should be Ok.

Try the SB IRQ=5 and MPU IRQ = 9 :) I tried changing the IRQ, but when I change it for the Sound Blaster it also changes it to the same thing for the MPU-401 IRQ. Another issue is that it Windows 9x does not have multiple CPU support. It will only see 1 CPU.

I ended up switching to Windows 98 Second Edition and just use the DOS MPU-401 support to access the Wavetable Midi in DOS games. Not what I wanted to do, but it works just fine for my needs.

I got the Windows 3.11 General Midi working, but still no luck on MS-DOS. Turns out the Software Midi option in the Midi mapper is actually the onboard Wavetable synthesizer. Getting closer anyway.

I was just wondering if there is a RGBtoHDMI profile for the Tandy 2000 640x400 color mode instead of using a CM-1 monitor? It would be nice to take the monitor out from time to time, but I would rather put less hours on it and use the RGBtoHDMI instead.
