no your right are you getting this: If you are using a nvidia graphic chip with drivers higher than 6.5X and get an error Direct3D Init Failed (00000000) #7 try using this version http://www.synetic.de/flash_frameset.php

i generally dont play games with music but a couple of exceptions Descent - the gaming equivalent of the jaws music just a fantastic way of building the tension unreal the music suited the game so well

open system.ini look for the following section [mci] MPEGVideo=mciqtz.drv MPEGVideo2=mciqtz.drv avivideo=mciavi32.dll cdaudio=mcicda.dll sequencer=mciseq.dll make sure the mciavi32.dll line is there ps: backup your system ini before you do anything

it appears he missed out a few steps open control panel open sounds and audio devices click hardware tab highlight mciavi32.dll click properties click settings make sure window + original size are selected

if the amd cpu is just a licensed clone why cant you use the same board ? ps: could the 16mb of ram be a problem no-one had 16mb back in the 386 days my first pentium pc only had 8mb
