Re: Fasttracker 2.10 & 2.11 for MS-DOS

Aha, that's at 2:22, not 1:03. was too lazy to listen to the whole song, as I didn't know exactly what to look for. :) Anyway, that's related to a difference in how the 9xx (Set Sample Offset) effect is handled in the replayer. Remember that replayers are different across different players/trackers …

Re: Fasttracker 2.10 & 2.11 for MS-DOS

Hello guys, I have a problem with the reproduction of a module, there is an instrument that does not sound, at minute 1:03, easy to realize, with other players it works, it is possible to see if it will not be something from my configuration or is something from the player, greetings The party 1993 …

maxtherabbit wrote on 2020-07-21, 13:59: If track 0 is physically fucked then disk is trash, no software will fix that I do not agree, as I said, I was able to recover floppy disks, first cleaning them, second trying several programs, from 6 floppy disks of 10 recovered being saved.

Re: Format floppy disks

The track 0 its a pain in the as.. I second this. My workaround was to use WinImage and rewrite a blank disk image/DOS 6 Installation disk image to the damaged disk. This overwrote the full disk and made it usable again. Anyway, it's just a temporary solution. Alternatively, I also used PC-Tools 7 …

Re: Fasttracker 2.10 & 2.11 for MS-DOS

Works ! , I was able to install the GUS 4.11 Drivers and I replaced the Ultrinit 2.28 by 2.28a and of course all the drivers, it is not a good idea to have the GUS drivers without updating, I just saw that I had my old drivers, I'm going to take it as a reference to install my 486 , but everything …

Re: Fasttracker 2.10 & 2.11 for MS-DOS

I don't know how to fix that problem. It detects the correct IRQ/DMA settings with DOSBox and GUS, at least. Did you properly install the GUS DOS drivers? Yes , Gus drivers and init setup works fine , im use another player to test ( Inertia Player ) and detect the config okk , games works fine too …

Re: Fasttracker 2.10 & 2.11 for MS-DOS

I have it ! , it detects the wrong IRQ and DMA of my GUS Classic, my configuration is IRQ 7 DMA 3, for some reason it does not let me change it, in version 2.08 I can change the DMA and IRQ of the Sound Blaster only , in version 2.11 it does not let me change or GUS or SBPro 2.0 , Is there a command …

Re: Fasttracker 2.10 & 2.11 for MS-DOS

What if I could try is that it is very slow, it sounds bad and the sound is cut, I use a 386dx40mhz, 8mb ram, GUS Classic, I tried removing the EMM386 but with no luck, today I am going to test with other configurations. Does FT2.08 work better? https://16-bits.org/ft2/FT208.ZIP i try it in a few …

Thanks for the quick response, first I have to remember that mCTP is the standard defacto to connect our old PCs to the internet (I connect IBM 5150, PC XT clone, 386dx40mhz, ETC), I also have to remember that in a few months the BBS listing jump from 400 to 662, that means the scene is more alive …

Thanks for the update ! , One question, is it possible to ask as a list of where it will be connected by telnet, as a menu? , it is because it is used a lot to connect to BBS and there is no bad idea to have a menu with a list that can be recorded from BBS, thanks
