I can confirm that the installation run fine while upgrading from windows 3.1 using the already installed EGA driver. But it didn't work if using Hercules driver. And I've not seen any proof that someone managed to get 9x working with Hercules graphics. Also, it's amazing how slowly the GUI is drawn …

Oh thank you, but these are for choosing which of the RAM type DIMMs you have installed, SDR or DDR. They shouldn't affect FSB speed and the computer shouldn't work when wrong RAM selection is jumpered. Or am I mistaking something here? Anyway, I've checked again, they are correct in my case.

Upgrade works as intended, be it with the floppy version of 95 or CD version. But I cannot make it work with HGC. 😒 Installing 95 from scratch doesn't work because it wants to see a VGA adapter in the first place. If anyone has any other idea I shall try.
