I have tried moving sticks around, and managed to get it to post sucessfully but it only recongnized the 2x4mb sticks as 1mb each, then I added two other stick then the system booted with some garbage on the screen and said soething abour parity error and the system was unresponsive to input, and …

I bought some 386sx SBC's for a few $10 to steal the 3 chip 4MB simms off of and when i put them in the compuadd it starts up with the first 64k failure beep code.

I found a copy of the manual it can only cache upto 64mb. I almost think I have one of these boards that I pulled out of an Austin Pentium 120 system.

It would be but unfortunately it seems to have been lost in time, unless some lucky sob out there has an old floppy or something that has a copy of the driver. Although the ems driver may be useful if he has on board ram installed in addition to simms.

Is it possible that the board will not post at 133mhz. The P6DGU was designed for 100mhz fsb cpus have you tried adjusting the fsb jumpers on powerlead to see if it will post www.powerleap.com/pdf_files/PL-P3SMP.pdf

The reason that you only see 640k of ram is that you need to run the ems driver to access the memory above 640k.

If it is like any other socket 4 board there is a key pin on the inside of the array at the top right (from the perspective of looking at the bottom of the cpu with the text on the bottom being oriented to where it is readable).
