Windows 95 actually works better or equivalent for all the games I own now when compared to 98. Just had to get the right drivers. I don't know why I like 95 more I just do.

Does anyone know of windows 95 compatible drivers for the Radeon 7000? I used catalyst 6.2 in 98 but it's saying it's missing dll files in 95.

I just ordered a logitech s96 mouse. It's optical but still ps/2. Looks pretty good. I mostly just wanted a white mouse to match the look of the rest of my rig. I finally got it working after trying out different drivers but now I can't get dooms music. Sound effects are fine but there's just no music. Dark forces has 100% of its audio though. Anyone know why it's not working? I tried the 4 and 8 mb wavesets but no luck with dooms music.

The disk that came with it didn't have much in the way of drivers. A couple audio ones that did nothing. It's an Intel SE440BX-2. I got a different sound card working but the sound in dark forces work work with that one. I didn't do anything with the jumper I just put it in and installed it.

So what should I do with it? I can't get my sound card to do anything. I install the drivers and it still comes up as unrecognized. Could this be the problem? It came with no jumpers on it. I'm running windows 98.

The only reason that I want to use 95 is that I already have a copy. I read about people using seatools to make a HDD smaller but it seems like people only make it 32 GB. Is there a similar way to make the drive less than 2 GB with the correct formatting? If this isnt possible I will just go with 98 …
