What does the "CLK" LED on your POST-card say? I wouldn´t worry about the CPU. The ISA bus is hooked to the peripheral controller "VT82C481" (Venus Chipset). Quick update: I've run 3DMark 2000 (1024x768. 16 bit and 32 bit textures) on my WinXP Pentium 4 3.2Ghz system. No issues at all. Memory chips where not desoldered afaik (surface looks untouched). Heatsink/fan is brand new... Original had no "HercuIes" sticker in the middle. I've owned similar card …
