You could also try using some other screen recording program. https://obsproject.com/ is open source/free and works quite well.

Build files have been written to: U:/MinGW/msys/1.0/home/M4C/munt-2.1.0/mt32emu ld.exe: cannot find -lmt32emu You have to compile the library mt32emu, take a look at the "build files", you should be able to do something like: make mt32emu make install (or copy the files manually)

Why do you use virtual joystick? Just use the DOSBox keymapper as I've explained and it will work.

Why would you want to apply the 3Dfx patch anyway? IMO, the 3Dfx version looks worse than the SVGA version. I think the 3Dfx patch was experimental/alpha.

Lowering the CPU cycles won't help. Instead run the game's setup program and select Sound Blaster Pro instead of SB16 as the game's sound device.

In DOSBox: mixer master 10:10 or some other values that result in acceptable sound volume. Then make a batch script to execute that command and start the game so you don't have to write it every time.

I think that's just how the game was programmed. Fire elemental has the highest speed stat, therefore it moves very fast on the screen. This seems to be a common problem with Dark Legions. If you skip the intro and start a new game "too fast" the game will freeze. It works fine for me. I configured the the controls like this: blue: I,J,K,L and Home (these are mapped to joystick) black: R,D,F,G and Q white: Arrows and Enter red: N/A I even tried mapping all 4 players in the same movement keys and separate bomb drop keys and it worked fine. Well, if you're already using a virtual joystick you could just as well use the DOSBox keymapper only. Change the joysticktype in dosbox.conf to ch, start DOSBox and use the keymapper (Ctrl+F1) to map whatever keyboard keys you want to use to the joystick x- and y-axis and buttons.

As it says in the window, it's just a sample that shows that these UI elements (radio buttons, combo box, line edit) work. GDI (Graphics Device Interface) is a Windows application programming interface.

Why do you even need to read the host's ip address? Just use a hostname to connect instead, e.g. "ipxnet connect your_host_pc_name", or set up a static ip address for your host (the address is always the same). (I'm assuming this is a LAN setup)
