she... thank you... i renamed it to dosbox.conf and made the batch file and put it in the same folder and it worked great... can i do it in a way that i can have the batch file on the desktop as long as the conf is in the same folder as dosbox.exe? i used to make batch files... a few... simple ones …

so all i had to do is find the dosbox config file and copy it to the dosbox folder and it'll use it there? it worked... it moved the capture folder there too thank you... so easy... so i deleted the dosbox folder under appdata cause i moved everything from that over here and it overwrote everything …
