This was found in an old warehouse in West Texas, still boxed, very much yellowed. Finished product came out well. It's primarily a CP/M machine but it also runs DOS 2.1. The system time loses 80 seconds per hour when not running. Otherwise the system has no other issues. I am more interested in the problem solving; understanding why it is happening and the proper remedy.

Purchased this locally some time ago. Original owner replaced original battery with 4xAAA for a total of 6V. Even so, the clock still runs slow when powered off. Does it simply need lithium VS alkaline? I'd be surprised if this needed more than 6V, although there are some 7.2V packs out there. …

Does it lockup when you try games? You don't have an Adlib driver like ADLIB.COM or SBFMDRV.COM loaded as well by any chance? Any driver that assigns itself to INT 80H might cause a crash.
