I would've at least looked at the CRTs, if they were 19" or higher and from a good brand like Sony or Hitachi. Large high-end CRT monitors are very hard to find now.

I've been looking for a period-correct set of speakers for my old PC setup for a while. Finally found these Yamaha YST-M8s at Goodwill today. I knew Yamaha made good stuff but these things blew me away. I haven't heard better bass response out of any other 2.1 set without a subwoofer.
