I have a Asus P4T with a 2.0 P4 and 4x256MB PC1066. Decent performance, allthough it have no real retro value for me as I was running Socket A during this time (as everyone else). Cool to have in the collection though.

Sometimes you can't let Win98 install the drivers automatically, you have to pick the correct one yourself as the USB-drive driver package often contains more than one driver.

Oldest computer I've installed Win7 on is a with i850 based socket 423 motherboard. Hade 1 GB ram. Worked fine, allthough I didn't really do anything with it. Maybe I will build a Win7 socket 1155 based rigg in 10 years or so, who knows 😀
