Fixed! Thank you for all your suggestions! Turns out there was indeed a memory pin on the top memory chip that had gone cold. Re-flowed it, messed with the jumper settings again and we have a winner! I'm very happy as this card out-performs my 5429 by over 10% on most benches. Thanks again 😀 😀

I have seen this as well. It seems to be by design and is actually two resistors soldered in series. They seem to be attached quite well after double-checking them.

This was our very first PC. Love this little rig. Only issue I ran into with it was being limited to 16 colors in windows due to the 256k of vid ram. Wish I still had it, but maybe one day I'll pick another one up. Best of luck finding your solution.

Make sure there isn't an option in the bios to disable the turbo switch functionality. I have a couple systems that have this setting.

If the board requires two, you'll need to use two. You can try with just one, as this certainly wouldn't harm anything, but I doubt it will work. It's not uncommon for a board to require two tags depending on the board.
