Top or bottom mounted PSU?

Regarding an win98 system, does it matter? Looking for some cases there seem to be better options/variety with bottom mounted designs.

In prep for a Voodoo 2 sli setup wanted to look into maybe modding this case for adding more fans but it may not be practical. Anyone think I might be better served going with a black case with fans since they're so plentiful? See pics and let me know what u think.
DOS games with Win98SE

I'm rather "green" in this area but wanted to play later era dos games say like Doom 2, Dark Forces, Duke Nukem and etc. Seems like with a W98se system there's a myriad of ways to go about it - dos mode, window mode, boot to dos. Considering my hardware (see sig) how would you go about doing it?

Well, gave up on the newer Thermaltake and tried the Antec SL350 in my other Win98 rig. Lo and behold, it fired up the 850 P3/SE440-BX2 combo no problem. Below is the rail ratings for the Antec: +5V - 35A +12 - 16A +3.3 - 28A -5V - 0.5A -12V - 0.8A +5VSB - 2.0A Can anyone tell me which of these …

Based on the rail ratings any reason this one won't work with slot 1 motherboards? Intel SE440-BX/2 specifically. See attached pic.

Just recalled that I tried (3) different cpus on this same result nadda, but did notice that all three were pretty warm to touch. Don't know if that's a clue to what's going on.

Ok went and tried everything I know of to this point and still nothing. I'm attaching some pics of the power supply & ram in case someone out there sees something in the ratings that could be the problem. Any comments would be appreciated, thanks!

Looks like it would qualify for the "Vogons" official headquarters. If I had that "spread" wouldn't see daylight for weeks.

Just bought this SE-440BX-2 mobo with a 850mhz P3 today to upgrade my Win98 system - see my sig. Other new parts include a Vortex2 sound card and Voodoo2 SLI. Hopefully will get all this working over the holidays.

Just for the record, a P3 450 with a diamond viper ultra 770 runs PowerDVD 6 fine on Win98 - not buttery smooth though. I too looked into decoder cards but figured since I got it working via software why bother going further with it.
