Well I just reinstalled windows 3.1 on my windows 7 laptop and I tried the iso file instead of the cd and it worked perfectly no crashing. So I think I will just stick with using windows for dosbox since it is a lot more easier to manage. Thanks for the help 😀

No the burned copy worked on my laptop. I am able to load either the img file or the burned copy just crashes after game is loaded. It goes past the title screen but in gameplay it slows down and crashes. I tried the slow cpu line and that did nothing. Guess I will have to just try and reinstall …

Okay so I managed to get windows 3.1 installed on dosbox on my mac but I am wondering how can I mount my cd drive so I can load games that require a cd? What is the command to use to mount it? Also where can I find my config file for dosbox so I can enter in all my commands?

Well I just figured it out. I had the commands a bit wrong. I now have it set to this command. mount d f:\ -t cdrom mount c c:\dosbox c: cd INTRPLAY\STPIN stpin

Yeah when I go to launch the batch file and after the game runs the sound will not load. But it loads if I was to reinstall it but after I relaunch it the sound stops playing again.

Okay so I have installed star trek pinball with dosbox using the cd rom drive and when ever I go to relaunch the game with the batch file the sound does not turn on at all. Is there anyway to fix this issue?

Okay thats good. For some reason star trek pinball did not let me install it I think I may have to burn it to a cd to run it since some games do that.
