I think they are a bit overhyped imho - I have one and it's very limited when it comes to adjustment options, at least in 15KHz (which is what I bought it for). I could never get Workbench to be properly centered. It's a good VGA monitor though 😁

As always, just vote with your wallet - if no one purchases stuff at inflated prices, the sellers will have to lower prices in order to sell. The drivers are installed at the same time. The card itself works perfectly fine in DOS, just in Windows there is no sound and that erro message. I do get that message in Windows if the card is not in the PC (well duh) or if I have forgot to uncomment some of the autoexec.bat/config.sys init lines. …

One detail from my other thread that may be of interest: at least on my ASUS board, setting the jumper that connects the CACHE# line of the CPU to pin 118 of the chipset causes it to hang when booting if using L1 WB. According to the chipset datasheet, pin 118 is supposed to work as CACHE# line …
