You're right, the problem is not present in the demo version of the game (even if I copy paste French texts file in the demo). I do not have the English or German version of the retail game to make futher try.

I recommend to rename the RogueSpear.exe to something else like Rspear.exe to avoid windows to apply compatibility setting on it which prevent the game to run on my system. I confirm Vsync has nothing to do with the cursor problem, it appears in any way. The invisible knife/dynamite do not occurs with nglide, only with dgvoodoo 2 (Glide)

Small bug with the game outlaws (Lucas arts) in glide mode : Knive and dynamite you throw are not render (invisible). Problem do not occurs in Direct3d mode but Direct 3d mode has the mouse cursor problem.
