A free program called "Types" can change the default file associations, can change file icons and even put new "open with (program)" on right click. It works with Windows 10, I discovered it today after searching for it a while.

cannot reproduce; if you use external software for this you are asking for trouble anyway Windows does not have a disassociate extension type function anyway. It does, but it is broken and does not work. You see, windows 10 broke something that was working perfectly fine in windows 7 and that is file associations. I don't know if they fixed it in a later update.

Dominus, please give me more information on what you mean by dosbox builds. I don't use any builds I just use the latest version of dosbox from their website. Am I missing something here and can I make my dosbox better by changing it or modifying it or something?

I just discovered that the left shift key works, but the right shift key does not. I guess this solves my problem. Still though, why does the right shift key not work?

Hahahaha... I just checked my tv tuner card TV-HVR-2255 and it is also completely not recognized by the computer. The update broke that too.
