I have the GOG version of Unreal Gold and no matter what drivers i use I get a general protection fault. i have turned off DEP and I even used the latest unofficial 277 patch from old unreal. I would recommend doing a reinstall of the game along with reinstall of ALchemy. If any registry keys were left for Heretic II after uninstalling, I would suggest removing that too. Because some registries go to the VirtualStore. Edit: Tried A3D Alchemy and Creative Alchemy, didn't face any …

Do you mean you've previously had no problems running the game under Windows 10? It's easy to imagine one of the big Windows 10 updates (or an update for your graphics card) breaking compatibility.
