Typo. And it wouldn't matter as long as the battery was connected properly. A Cr2032 is a lithium battery with 3V. It is 20 mm in diameter, and 3.2 mm thick. So a CR2033 if it existed would just be a tad thicker. 😀

Use the USB A-A method to flash instead of the serial thingy. Much easier and less fiddly!

Yes, in the order they were copied to the stick. You can also change the settings so it expects files named in a special way with numbers etc. https://github.com/keirf/FlashFloppy/wiki/Initial-Setup

You don't have a path for the softmpu.exe file in autoexec. Are you really keeping it in the root of the C drive and not in its own directory, like C:\SOFTMPU\SOFTMPU.EXE ? Your line loading MIXERSET.EXE also seems to be missing a \ in the path? I also wouldn't bother with the stupid dblspace thingy …

I also get the CDROM running fine off my soundcard, but I can't get it to work from the secondary IDE channel on any of my VLB cards. Running it as slave on the primary IDE works fine too.

I can get it to work with VIDE-CDD when connected to my ESS soundcard's IDE as tertiary channel (port IE8 and IRQ 12). 2. it does REACT to SOMETHING when connected to the secondary channel on the VLB card. I was afraid of that. The BIOS does indeed only show C and D under autodetect. Any way of updating it? It's an AMIBIOS.
