It's Voodoo2 cards that are causing the problem. With the driver installed for even one card the X850 freaks out, as long as the drivers are not installed there are no issues.

Can you remove some RAM? Try dropping down to 256MB and see what happens. I know it sounds crazy, but I once had a similar problem and removing some RAM is what fixed it.
