About Blade of Darkness - with D3d rendered and latest wip game looks pretty good (8xMSAA), but despite that fps counter shows 60 fps, game not really feels smooth, slight stutters here and there.. Playing this with the latest WIP, works really nicely so far. I did notice that my GPU load climbs to 80-100% while viewing any of the in-game menus or text screens. Better keep in mind not to let the game idle on such screens.

I think bugs that have to do with physics such as inadequate jumpjet thrust and the infamous bouncing APCs are a CPU issue though. Have you tried limiting the game FPS? I know Interstate '76 has to run at 20 FPS (30 works, but 20 is better for accuracy), otherwise physics is totally off; wobbly …

The demo of Prince of Persia 3D fails runs to run with dgVoodoo2 (doesn't even get to the menu). Without dgVoodoo2, the demo runs but suffers from what seems to be the same very low-framerate issue with old DirectX games on Windows 8. Haven't tried the full game.

Similar to my issue with Blade of Darkness, lens flares also cause a huge performance hit in No One Lives Forever. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a way to disable the lens flare effect in that game.

Two problems with Driver (1999) with the Glide renderer. One is the black void (clipping issue?) and the other is that the lens flare effect is not working properly. The black void also appears during night and when the lens flare effect is disabled. dgVoodoo2 Glide: https://s14.postimg.org/ …

MechCommander Gold works with dgVoodoo2, but it's necessary to have Capture Mouse enabled otherwise the game will crash after the intro.
