The selection is quite poor imo. You can probably count the number of good Towns exclusive games on one hand. Maybe a dozen total if you include doujin games. Price wise? Wing Commander 2 and Lemmings 2 are $300 games on Towns. 🤣.

Sadly the RcvSysOn option is a bit disappointing because it turns them all off. The Korg NS5R does this much better as it has separate ignore options for GM, XG, and GS. TG-300 also adds the "B Mode" for SC-55 GS support which is a nice extra. The TG-100 actually does have a CM-64 sound map mode which is fun to play with, but usually sounds quite awful 🤣.

iirc, the audio output jacks are part of the 32P board. The 32P does all the mixing, the 32L sends its audio to the 32P via small wire harnesses. So if you were to disconnect the cables, the 32L would have no normal audio outputs. You could solder your own I suppose...
