Lovely to see this project is still undergo! I have some old 486 laptops that duly lack any sound possibilities except PC-Speaker, but they have PCMCIA ports and would benefit greatly from these devices! Keep up the good work!

Be aware, for Windows 3.1 you need to use the "Microsoft or IBM PS/2" mouse driver - the Logitech one caused a hang on Windows startup. Pretty sure that this is mentioned in the manual/guide. My Compaq Contura likes vanilla Windows 3.1, but not WfW 3.11.. That's interesting. I have a Compaq Contura 400c and it also dislikes (freezes after everything has loaded) WfW3.11. Whereas Windows 3.1 (Compaq edition) does run flawlessly.... I suspect something is up with relation custom memory …

How about how does Geforce 2 MX compare? I have one without 400 after the MX on the chip. I also have MX4000 card that I think is suppose to be similar performance as MX400 at least based on some forum conversation online. That depends....
