Re: Heads Up: Roland Sound Canvas VA VSTi Plugin!

I downsized a few years ago and sold my SC-55 MK2. Sound Canvas VA (with tweaking) has been, by far, the best software solution in existence, and by a considerable margin. As impressive as soundfonts can be, they can also only do so much due to their limitation, and are not close to VA in any area. …

Re: Far Cry

I use the 64-bit AMD content patch with the GOG 32-bit version. The widescreen and silent patches works fine. You get some higher resolution textures and a further draw distance. Only issue is a blurry rockface texture which could most likely be fixed via extracting and replaces said file. Tempted …

Happy with what I can now run on my new Ryzen 3700x build. Outside the very brief milliseconds hitches that happen no matter the CPU, I'm Getting 100% on a Pentium II 333mhz / Voodoo 3 / Win98SE config. Absolutely lovely stuff. Aiming for the same setup I had back in 1998 as a youngster, and I'm …

Re: PCem v17

Does anyone know if it is possible to pass Virtual Roland Sound Canvas VA through PCem ? By using Coolsoft MIDIsynth, LoopMIDI, and Falco Midi Player in Windows 10, I am able to use the official Roland VST perfectly with emulators and DOSbox that can output MIDI. Just wondering if I can also use …

Re: PCem v17

Completely understandable, even if it is indeed sad news. If you're not having fun with a project, then it is time to call it a day. Even without continuation, PCem still accomplishes so much in its current state and will be useful for many years. Would it be possible to keep the forums locked, but …
