You won’t be able to triple boot Windows on a G5 (unless I’ve missed something fundamental in the last 5 or so years), BootCamp is only for Intel Macs, not PowerPC. Floppy drives can be recalibrated with known good floppies and a scope. IMD is helpful but will never be enough on its own - yes, floppies will read OK but writes will miss the track a bit, and that affects also the existing data due to the way writing data works. "Good floppies" are for example …

You should calibrate to factory disks. Grab disks from various games from various companies.. write-protect them, and try to align to those. Don't trust other drives unless they've proven proper head alignment on factory disks too. Yes indeed..that makes sense to me.. Sadly I dont have many games …

I'm using a blank floppy formatted on the good TEAC...but watching the track numbers and data returned on the bad TEAC... looking for a consistant (30) which I can now achieve up to track 66. Looks like track zero is now correct...and head 0 ...which I assume is the lower head reads fine up to track 69 wheras the upper head (head 1 ?)looses alignment above track 29...so more work to do. certainly a very critical setup. This aint easy but maybe I'll nail it with persistance.

So from what I have observed so far.. The drive starts ok - ish at track zero by pushing the heads manually back to start...the selecting an arbitrary track number..say 50... The heads move to 50.. Then using the track zero option the heads move back to start position ..but never get there.. coming …
