By default, SETYMF sets all sound sources to 0db (highest SNR, no clipping), but you can change things to your liking on the mixer screen and use the sound tests as reference for getting the balance right.

None of my ProLinea4/33 or 25 had any suport for 3.3V CPUs, there's no voltage regulator anywhere. There was also no cache on any of them which severely hurts performance. Onboard ET4000 made Windows pretty nice though, due to GUI acceleration functions.

If the Vibra did full 16bit address decode there wouldn't be such a problem happening, intel saved a little money by not adding one extra logic chip for that purpose... Microsoft later mandated 16bit address decode to qualify some newer multimedia PC level.

I expected some controllers to be something beyond passive devices (i.e maybe with turbo function) and then things get more interesting, passive controllers would be fine though.

Atari/Commodore DB9 has different pinout compared to Sega one, 5V is on pin 5 on Sega while it is on pin 7 on Atari/Commodore, a switch or something is needed to take care of that in order to prevent potential damage to all the parties involved.
