Perhaps this is a socket for a dirty tag ram or the configuration with 2x 8K tag chips.

Since pipelined burst cache is what makes a Pentium fly, I don't recommend to use any boards with asynchronous L2 cache.

Do BIOS and SCSI driver support disks > 8 GB too? Try an Adaptec 2740/2742 in narrow or wide version instead. mkarcher has patched BIOS + ASPI7DOS driver to even get past 8 GB.

Oh dear, this system is comparable or a bit better than my current Windows 10 system. I guess your system even would be good enough for StarCraft II - except the operating system ofc.
