If you're using dynamic core, switch to normal core, because breakpoints don't always work on recompiled code. Yeah, I know that. No worries, I'm using the normal core. 2) Set a breakpoint on the memory address that INT 18 points to, i.e. where the DOSBox handler is located in emulated BIOS ROM. …

The game is not Terminator and I already tried with all possible cpu types. I'm not really sure what is the exact name of the game... All that's written in the main menu is "Hugo". I have two versions of the game, the one where the save files are called DEMO X .IM1 (game version is Ver f1.01 ) and that's where I can't get pass the access code, and the other version (which is Ver f1.02s) where the save files are called GAME X .IM1 and I have no problem …

This happend to me in several games, so far, booting MS-DOS in DOSBox was a good workaround that always worked.

IIRC, HOMM1 was originally released on a CD by NWC with both a windows and a DOS version, but later editions by Ubi-shite were Windows only.
