To my excitement suddenly both CT2230 and CT2290 popped up nearby. I'm slightly bothered by the resistor on 2230 2230.PNG and even more so by some glued cap on 2290 2290.PNG Also, shouldn't 2290 come without the SP Socket? Is everything in order here?

Thanks for the list, appiah4. It will be helpful as a point of reference when targeting a certain year. I think you are overly conservative with RAM size though. In many cases I would call for double the amount.

+1 for Seasonic. From my experience Corsair and Cooler Master are hit-and-miss. They like to use crappy caps in low-end models (sweet 350's). I would avoid FSP as well - not nearly as reliable as they were 10 years ago.
