Hello... I just received a Radeon 9800 pro with an accelero. Sadly as just I tried it showed a completely garbled screen, very much garbled actually. I immediately turned it off and I took off the accelero, changed the completely dry thermal paste and gave another try... Nothing changed obviously. …

If you don't need more memory than the 512MB you've already bought, just buy a pair of the dummy continuity RIMMs (CRIMMs) to fill the other two slots the lowest price I found for 2 crimms is €8 shipped, with €18 I get other 2 modules with 2 crimms. Hello, I've got this card, but it seems quite obscure, it is pci and there are some jumpers on the card, I tried to find an online manual but without success. It also seems to have a sblink connector but it has all the 6 pins populated. Any help, please?

VID pin is Voltage Identification and it is necessary for getting proper voltage. The slight undervolt will do good if the chip stays stable, less heat is produced. !IGNNE is for raising FPU error interrupt and it shouldn't matter at all. It used to have proper meaning in hardware where there's a …

That's briliant! Any advice about what epoxy to use? I tried the cpu, it apparently works fine. The reset switch works too... They are rated for the same speed of the cpu, there is no jumper allowing to enable or disable the fpu and there are no bios options for the fpu.

I just got the AJ-5-120 chips. Now the card is detected as 4mb So on my hand the mistery is solved, the aj and sj aren't compatible.
