Hi, Eprom was not the issue, I already tested the board with the new BIOS. A correctly flashed Eprom was provided by a friend of mine. He also provided me with already erased other Eproms for future use :) Also i have a programmer (Willem), it's not the most intuitive to use but gets the work done. …

I second mkarcher statement. It's the same board as the one from eBay. And that one has a sticker on the back with 740 which means it's an i740, however I don't believe its from Hercules. Usually Hercules branded cards had big labels stating what it was.

Thank you all for the suggestions. I totally overlooked the facts that all the chips are from '99-ish. The board layout and the overall build quality screams early '80s. Most likely it's something proprietary of some industrial device. Oh well in the recycling center it goes 😀
