Hi Chris, Thanks for the response. I should have mentioned that the bios battery is brand new. I tested it as well with my meter and it is working. The bios is holding its memory.

Does anyone have this machine and has a copy of the setup disk? Machine starts up fine but needs a setup disk to configure the bios. The motherboard is made by Tandy. The motherboard was made in 1989 and the part number for the motherboard is 8709972. Attached are some photos. Thanks.

So I’m not sure what exactly happens but I decided to load the bios defaults again after going over all the jumper settings and now the machine works great. It actually does have a game port but it’s not built on the board. The game port has its own expansion slot and it plugs into the board. I just didn’t show it. Once I get home this evening I’ll test it again. Will I need to install a driver for it or should it just work with the proper selection?

Did you ever figure out the turbo button issue? I have the tower version and I’m having a similar problem in which the turbo LED is always on and the button doesnt appear to do anything and it doesn’t turn off the LED. I should mention that the cmos battery is dead and I have a new one on order.
