I have also done a (near) complete restoration of the Dell, the only issue being one of the 3.5" expansion bays. Just make sure the mmx gets a good active cooler and it should work fine at 3.2v just like the non-mmx cpu's. If only the mmx doesn't boot it's probably the cpu that is dead (due to the regulator dying perhaps?) Any dual vultage CPU wont even post. And as the jumpers are the same for a regular …
