those sanyo cap is good brand and in good shape so i don't think there are any reason to replace them in the first place. I only replace the cap if they are - having the sign of being bulged - the brand is known to be bad like cheapo or teapo

from my experience with cheap floppy disk after soaking in the rain, when the water is inside the disk, it will break the magnetic layer and the disk is no longer readable.

for windows xp, i tend to use the legacy update for the look and feel of the original annoying of automatic update. https://legacyupdate.net/ since i'm not using machine for anything serious, that page seems ok to use.

I only modded the 266fsb athlon XP and have no problem with recognized both of them on the 760mpx board. But i'm only using the stock cpu, no multiplier or overclocked involved.

i don't think the intel board support SLI. from the review on the net, the board does support ATI crossfire only.

for no.1, i'm not sure but i don't think it will cause any problem. for n0.2, you can add some washer between the bolt and the back-plate, it should be able to hold the port in place, but if your i/o shield is just a thin piece of metal then it won't feel secure when insert the gamepad for sure.
