Update of November 21, 2024: In September I replaced the last bulged G-Luxon capacitor on the Matsonic MS8137C+ motherboard and it is stable now. I know it is a PC Chips but somehow it is reliable like a ASUS board. Also I plan to install the PCI 56K hardware modem into it for retro reasons.

Updates as of June 4, 2024: Recapped my ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard (it is stable, replaced all the 6.3V 3300uF Nichicon HM capacitors, only 2 bulged, but replaced them preventively with 10V 3300uF low ESR Panasonic FR, that's why the capacitors are larger than the original ones, and the …

Did you notice all the corrosion on the PCI contacts? If you use a pencil eraser to clean that up it may work fine. If there are any stubborn "chunks" you may need to scrape gently with a tool, just be careful not to damage the contact any more than it already is. seen the corrosion, I will try to …
