It's an ASUS P3B-F Rev 1.04. (With a modified BIOS courtesy of a VOGONS member.) This is in Windows XP, and yeah, I probably need to re-install the OS. I wasn't aware that the chipset drivers needed to be installed. (It seems to work fine.)

I tried both VGA and one vga + VGA/DVI cards. The motherboard I got doesn't seem to play nice with dual monitors in Win98SE. I even started from a near-fresh installation of Windows 98SE, just to make sure. I wish I could put more info here, but that's all I have.

I FINALLY found out why my retro build computer was being wonky. The second power supply I got for it was from 2006, and the capacitors may have been compromised. I will worry about that power supply later, and instead use the power supply that I originally got with the computer case for this build. …

Okay, looking again, the 158 is supposed to be grounded. However, I don't know why that 138 is grounded too. According to two schematics I've seen (The 5160 and a Turbo XT Clone), pin 4 on that one 138 on my schematic isn't supposed to be tied to ground.

Nope. I did that already. I thought it was the memory finally giving out too. But I was wrong. The thing is, it does just fine at 840mhz, but I'd like to be able to use the full 1GHz. (I was able to use an 866MHz CPU with the last 6BTM I had, before it failed.)
