So I installed it under Windows XP on a Toshiba Equium L20-198 which is maxed out on ram and had the fastest cpu it can run and SSD of course.. The device installs fine and I can see it listed under device manager however not as a display adapter but as a pci device. This matches with the installer …

I personally haven't tried an SXL on anything as old as an 8088 with an accelerator card. I would recommend that you first try it out with a standard PGA-132 DLC. if that works, try with a standard PGA-132 SXL. Then try SXL2. Archive.org would probably be a pretty good place to put that stuff as well. Attempted to post to archive.org but they thought it was malware in the zip files. So my Google link above is as received from Axell I don’t believe it contains malware so I suspect it’s a false positive from archive.org
