Full Throttle (1.0) and Little Big Adventure. Is there any known bugs with them? I’m trying LBA on 2805 and 5205 under Windows 98 and after intro video game just closes. In native DOS it works fine. Full Throttle works fine both in Windows and native DOS, but it sometimes freezes for a 3~5 seconds. …

I finally got my elaborate setup working to "dial" to a TCP connection. Now I can connect to telnet BBS'es and such from real hardware by using a standard modem. Hearing the modem sound again after all these years was definitely a special moment :D It was quite a hassle to get everything working …

I got the numbers. Ultimate Doom v1.9 in the same environment (no TSR, real mode, with audio): demo1: 1753 realtics demo2: 2249 demo3: 3467 That means that FastDoom is 16~17% faster on this machine. Very impressive 😀

I ran a series of timedemos again, and they've improved quite a bit since v0.6 . It's running above 40FPS now! I never tested 0.666 so I don't know which release gave the biggest speed boost. It seems DBGL uses a '100% Java' database engine called hsqldb. Making an external conversion tool for it shouldn't be difficult, but integrating it into a Visual Basic for DOS program would be... challenging.
