Did you install the drivers for your sound card? Which sound card are you using? Did you configure the game to use the correct DMA and IRQ settings assigned to your sound card?

I borrowed a friend's garage when I modded my giant tower case, but I needed to buy my own hole saw. Get a name-brand one, my cheapo wasn't a perfect circle. As for who can do it, you can ask your friends if any of them have a drill press, or Google a local machine shop.

There are tools called "Hole saws" that will make a giant circular hole. I strongly advise using a drill press as well. Also, you'll need to make holes for the four fan mounting screws

Not to brag, but I have a clicky keyboard that has two DIP switches, giving it four compatibility modes. Still, I prefer keybaords with a 'flat' enter key rather than L-shaped ones.

If you have other hard drives you can play with, you might try loading DOS on a single drive and getting the DVD drive configured properly, then add and configure the second hard drive.
